Electrical work in a home belongs to licensed contractors. Elevate holds Florida Electrical Contractor License EC13015171 and carries full liability insurance. Every lighting project is completed by background-checked Team Members. We do not subcontract our licensed electrical work.
Our main office is located at 5570 Enterprise Pkwy, Fort Myers, FL 33905. From Fort Myers, our crews serve Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Sarasota, and Manatee counties: Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero, Lehigh Acres, Marco Island, Punta Gorda, and Port Charlotte.
Licensing transparency is not optional in this trade. Homeowners who want to verify a contractor’s credentials before calling can look up Florida Electrical License EC13015171 through the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation. We have no objection to that.
Permits are part of the job when the scope requires them. New circuit runs, panel modifications, and certain exterior lighting installations require permits in Lee and Collier counties. Elevate handles permitting on your behalf. We do not perform permitted work without pulling the permit first.
Residential lighting work falls into three distinct categories, and our electricians are licensed for all of them.
For work on the exterior of the home, including landscape, security, pathway, and dock lighting, our outdoor lighting services page covers what these projects involve, what to expect from the process, and what to ask a contractor before scheduling.
For fixtures inside the home, including recessed lighting, pendant and track installations, under-cabinet lighting, and fixture replacement in kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas, our indoor lighting services page walks through those specifics.
Ceiling fan installation and repair is covered separately because it involves its own sizing, wiring, and mounting considerations. In Southwest Florida, ceiling fans run most of the year and carry more load than in most of the country. Our ceiling fan installation and repair page covers what the work involves, including wiring requirements and what to know before choosing a fan.
When a project touches more than one of these categories, we scope the full job and provide a single written estimate before any work begins.
Most lighting repairs are completed the same day you call. New installations are scheduled within one to two business days. We work Monday through Saturday, with 24/7 support available to take your initial call or text.
Before any work starts, a Team Member assesses the situation and provides written options with upfront pricing. If a repair is the right move, that is what gets recommended. If a fixture, circuit, or connection needs replacement, we explain why in plain terms before asking for a decision. There is no pressure and no work without your sign-off.
Every project comes with a written warranty on parts and labor. We also stand behind every job with a 100% money-back satisfaction guarantee: if the completed work does not meet the standard we committed to, tell us, and after a fair opportunity to make it right, we refund the payment. That policy is in writing, not a verbal assurance.
Team Members arrive at your home licensed, background-checked, and equipped for the job. Our service vehicles carry parts for the most common lighting work we see, which is why most repairs do not require a second visit.
The reasoning behind this approach connects to how Elevate is built as a company. When Team Members are supported in their work and genuinely invested in what they do, the result is a measurably better experience for the Client. That is the operating philosophy the company was founded on, and it shows up in how the work gets done.
The Southwest Florida housing stock Elevate works in every day varies considerably, and those differences affect how lighting projects are scoped and executed.
In Cape Coral, the canal system puts thousands of waterfront properties within a few miles of each other along corridors like Pine Island Road and SE 47th Terrace. Salt air on the Caloosahatchee and the Cape’s interior canals accelerates corrosion on exterior fixtures and connections faster than inland properties. We factor that into fixture selection and installation method on every exterior project in the area.
Fort Myers presents a wide range of property ages and conditions. Homes in the Iona neighborhood and along the McGregor Boulevard corridor, many built between the late 1970s and the mid-1990s, often have panel and wiring configurations that need evaluation before any lighting upgrade can be added cleanly. Newer construction in Gateway and the Daniels Corridor has more current infrastructure but just as much demand for fixture and fan work.
In Naples, Bonita Springs, and Estero, a significant share of our Clients are either seasonal residents or manage their properties remotely. Properties that sit unoccupied for months benefit from security and exterior lighting strategies that address the gap. We coordinate with local property managers when homeowners are not on-site, and most installation calls do not require the owner to be present.
Lehigh Acres, Marco Island, Punta Gorda, and Port Charlotte are all within our regular service footprint. The needs in Lehigh Acres, where rapid residential growth has produced a mix of new construction and older housing stock, differ from those on Marco Island, where waterfront and vacation properties have their own set of lighting priorities. We do not apply a one-size approach across service areas this different.
If you are unsure whether your address falls in our service area, call or text. We confirm before scheduling.
What is Elevate’s electrical license number, and how do I verify it?
Our Florida Electrical Contractor License number is EC13015171. You can verify it through the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation’s online license lookup at myfloridalicense.com. We also carry full liability insurance on every project. Both the license number and proof of insurance are available on request.
How quickly can Elevate schedule a lighting repair or installation in Fort Myers?
Most repair calls are handled the same day you contact us. New installation projects are typically scheduled within one to two business days. We cover Fort Myers, Cape Coral, Naples, and the broader Southwest Florida area Monday through Saturday. Our support line takes calls and texts 24/7 for initial scheduling.
Do I need a permit for a lighting installation in Lee or Collier County?
It depends on the scope. Replacing an existing fixture on an existing circuit in the same location typically does not require a permit. Installing new circuits, modifying a panel, running conduit, or completing certain exterior projects in Lee or Collier counties usually does. When a permit is required, Elevate handles the application and scheduling with the county. We do not perform work that requires a permit without pulling one first.
Can Elevate assess an older home’s wiring before a lighting upgrade?
Yes. A significant portion of the homes we work in across Lee County, including neighborhoods in the Iona area, the original Cape Coral grid streets, and the Page Field corridor in Fort Myers, have wiring and panel configurations from the 1970s through the 1990s. We assess the existing electrical infrastructure before scoping any lighting upgrade. If the panel or wiring needs attention before new work can be added safely, we say so before any cost is committed. For panel and electrical system services, see our full electrical services page.
Do you work on vacation homes and seasonally occupied properties?
Yes. A large share of our work in Naples, Bonita Springs, Estero, and Marco Island involves properties that are vacant for part of the year. We schedule around the homeowner’s availability, communicate via phone or text, and work with local property managers when the owner is not on-site. Most installation and repair calls do not require the homeowner to be present.
What does the Elevate money-back guarantee cover on a lighting project?
Every project includes a written warranty on parts and labor. Beyond that, if you are not satisfied with the completed work after giving us a fair opportunity to make it right, we refund the cost. The 100% money-back satisfaction guarantee applies to every lighting job we complete, regardless of size. It is in writing.
Are the electricians who come to my home Elevate Team Members or subcontractors?
They are Elevate Team Members. We do not subcontract our licensed electrical work. Every electrician who arrives at your property is background-checked, licensed under Florida Electrical Contractor License EC13015171, and covered by Elevate’s liability insurance.
Can Elevate handle both interior and exterior lighting for a single home project?
Yes. When a project covers work inside and outside the property, we scope the full job and provide one written estimate. You work with one licensed contractor, one crew, and one point of contact. For specifics on each scope, see our outdoor lighting services and indoor lighting services pages.

As being a retired electrical contractor since 1980 and real estate investor, I was impressed, they gave me next day service, called me when in route, called me when completed, and billing was more than fair, unlike those companies that do flat rates.
Jerry S.
From the office personnel to the installation. The office staff were courteous and professional, Josh, the salesman, was here the next day and gave me a quote right away that was very fair and, I think, quite competitive. Joe and Reuben, the installers, came two days later to do the installation. They were very knowledgeable, courteous and professional and did a fantastic job. They represented your company extremely well. I love the Bryant package unit, recommended by Josh, it's attractive, efficient and quiet. Thanks to all.

We have been a client for just over 10 years and I’m very happy with their service, workmanship and pricing. In this day and age, it’s hard to find a company that you can’t find fault with, but this is one of them.
